Sew days are an opportunity to get together and work on charitable projects, get design or technique advice from other quilters or learn a new skill we can use in our sewing repertoire.

Sometimes we have a group project to work on together or a demonstration from another member.  Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch or maybe go out for a quick bite with other quilters at a nearby restaurant.  Or if you are on a mission, you can sew right through the lunch break!  

We are currently meeting on the 4th Thursday of the month at Crossroads Church, from 9am until 3pm.  If you need batting, cloth or use of a sewing machine, please contact the Sew Day Chair(s) to arrange for them to bring to the venue.

If you come planning to work on a personal project, you will be asked to contribute $5 to the room rent per our ByLaws.

Daisy Mountain Quilters is a very generous group and have contributed quilts and other textile items to anyone in need.  Veterans First, a service organization, catering to the needs of women veterans and their families, is a major recipient of our work.  We also make lots of dog beds for the Humane Society so our furry friends have a comfortable place to lie down.  We make baby blankets for Project Linus as well as Pillowcases for Ryan.  We even have friends that knit and crochet hats, scarves and other warm goodies for those in need.  If someone asks, we are there!
